Diving into the Literature
I decided to spend the next few weeks looking at the literature not only for the need for entrepreneurial education but also what has worked for others in implementation. I wanted to focus on the following three questions – what worked, what could have been done better and how can I apply those lessons learned. Below is a presentation I am working on to convey the main points I have discovered thus far. I believe I am on the right track as the three main things that I have learned from my research are:
- you must have an active learning environment with authentic problems
- you must learn from the wisdom of established entrepreneurs
- you must create meaningful partnerships within your community
We have many ideas to capitalize on these points already but the more I research the more ideas I discover. Feel free to click through the presentation below and check back for a more formal literature review in the coming weeks. These assets will be presented to my Head of School and leadership team over the summer as we continue to move forward.
